My prayers go to Patie his wife, his 2 daughters and 2 Sons!! ARev we still have to plan for the 16 days of activism against GBV and Rev you promised to have follow up sessions with the Byo FLEAT team. He would get into a room and literally own it. He assisted the Zim gender and Faith Network to develop liturgy and he was passionate about what he did. He always teased me that i knew nothing about developing liturgy and he would gladly do it.

I remember he was full time with the Church and i pleaded with him to move to Zim Council of Churches so we could work more together. Rev connected with the young and the old and left them all feeling inspired. I cant even remember when i first met Rev Sifelani! Its like he had always been in my life. You have made me appreciate what to be an Image of God means! Humble even as you always looked like you could survive without humility. Anyway to cut the long story short from that day we kept going to church, he came back and asked to visit us at home, he came and spent over 2 hours. I was a bit surprised but responded and said yeah it is kind of difficult to fit in because since we came we have never been welcomed. Just as I was about to say to my wife let's find a place that's a bit welcoming that's when Rev Sif came and said " I have been watching you for the past few weeks and reakised you come to church and leave". Those who have been in this situation understand. We had spent almost two months and all we did was get in church and walk out at the end of the service. I went to church a couple of months and found it difficult to fit in.

Nothing can alleviate our pain but we take comfort in the love of God and knowing that there are people that loved him and care for his family. We are blessed to be surrounded by a loving and compassionate community during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your generosity during this difficult time. We are fundraising to establish a Trust to preserve Rev Sam’s legacy and to support his Widow Patience, their 4 gorgeous children Unathi (6), Vuyiswa (5) and twins Vuyani and Vuyile who were only 5 weeks old on his passing. His absolutely devastating and untimely loss came as an unbelievable shock leaving a deep open wound in our hearts.
